The Cheat Trailer!

With our group, we had created a trailer for a book we had read in class. It was a lot of fun working on this trailer, especially me, learning along the way. I had taken the liberty of sending our trailer to the author herself, Amy Goldman Koss, and she had replied! She had a lot of kind words to share, and was thoroughly impressed! We are all absolutely humbled that she had taken the time to watch it and respond. Here it is!

Cookie Slays!!!

So, if you don't watch Empire, then you probably don't know what or who I am talking about. Empire is one of my favorite shows, and the lead actress Taraji P Henson, plays Cookie on the show. Now, Ms Henson had became the first ever black woman to win a Critic's Choice Award for best female actress in a drama! Yas! Now, the show is absolutely amazing, and her character is an absolute BO$$, it combines three of my favourite things, family, drama, and music! Check it out for yourself! Not to mention she looked absolutely stunning! Big Congrats to Cookie- um, I mean Taraji P Henson!
